DoorTix ("we," "our," or "us") provides a ticket concierge service that helps users find and purchase tickets to live events. These terms govern your use of our services.

2. Service Description

DoorTix acts as your agent to purchase tickets on your behalf from third-party ticket marketplaces. When you submit a ticket request:

  • You authorize DoorTix to charge up to your specified maximum price when we secure tickets at or below your cap.
  • We monitor ticket prices across multiple marketplaces to find tickets matching your criteria.
  • When tickets are found within your price range, we purchase them on your behalf.
  • Tickets are transferred to you via the original platform's transfer mechanism.

3. Payment Terms

  • When you submit a request, we place an authorization hold on your payment method for the maximum total amount (your max price × quantity).
  • This hold is not a charge—it reserves the funds to ensure availability.
  • You are only charged when we successfully purchase tickets for you.
  • Authorization holds expire automatically within 7 days if no purchase is made.
  • The final charge will be for the actual ticket price (at or below your maximum) plus any applicable fees from the ticket source.

4. Refund Policy

  • All sales are final once ticket transfer is initiated.
  • Refunds are provided only if the event is cancelled and the ticket source/seller issues a refund.
  • We pass through any refunds received from ticket sources to you.
  • If we cannot fulfill your request, no charge is made and any holds are released.

5. User Responsibilities

By using DoorTix, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information, including a valid email address for ticket transfer.
  • Maintain sufficient funds for the authorization hold.
  • Accept tickets transferred to you in a timely manner.
  • Not use our service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security features of our platform.

6. Ticket Transfer

  • Tickets are transferred via official platform tools (e.g., Ticketmaster transfer, AXS transfer).
  • You must have an account on the relevant platform to receive tickets.
  • The email address you provide must match your ticket platform account.
  • Transfer timing depends on the ticket source and may have restrictions based on event policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for tickets through our service.
  • We are not responsible for venue restrictions, event changes, or platform policies.
  • We do not guarantee ticket availability at any specific price.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our platform.
